Hi-O again everyone! I had a really busy week...the blog post below this one explains part of it. This one is dedicated to Jake, Katie, and Bette's visit to London this past week. We had soooo much fun...I truely enjoyed playing tour guide. Last weekend we saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and many other sights before eating fish and chips for their first meal in London! On Saturday we had a picnic in a park overlooking London, saw St. Pauls cathedral, the millenium bridge, the Globe theatre, and the Tate Modern before eating and Wagamama (one of our favorite London organic food chains) and dancing to eighties themed music until late! On Sunday we went to Camden town market and Abbey Road as well as ate sushi! My visitors spent the week in Paris (which they loved of course!) When I was at Windsor Jake, Katie, and Bette saw the Tower of London and Harrods! Friday night was their last night in town so we went dancing once again at the famous Roxy nightclub here in London! We had such a nice time...it was great to have such wonderful visitors! Happy St. Patricks day everyone...remember to wear your green! Cheers! Love you all

Hello everyone! What a busy week! We saw Avenue Q (a musical comedy) and Romeo and Juliette the ballet! We also went on a field trip to the famous Globe theatre for school! There are a few pictures of the inside of the Globe shown below. We spent Friday at Windsor castle (the home of the Queen). We saw the famous apartments in the castle, watched the changing of the guard, ate scones and drank tea with a view of the castle, explored the castle museum (including Queen Mary's famous doll house), walked along the 3 mile drive up to Windsor castle, and of course checked out the Queen's HUGE swans! In the afternoon we toured Eaton College (which is actually a very prestigious all boys high school) with an actual Eaton student in coad tails and everything! It was a beautiful day! Jake, Katie and Bette were here to visit for the past two weekends as well and those picture are included above! BUSY BUSY BUSY...I'm trying to make the most of my last couple of weeks! Take care everyone...see you all soon...and of course...CHEERS!

Hello finally! I cannot believe that it has been sooooo long since I posted last! The time keeps going faster and faster...I wish I could stop each moment and hold onto it a little longer! I have been keeping busy (obviously) since I wrote last. Two weekends ago (after the tower of London visit) we spent Sunday at the Chinese New Years celebration in Leister Square...it was a great cultural experience! The pictures of the New Year are easy to pick out from the Scotland pictures. Last weekend was really drury and rainy so we spent a lot of time inside in museums, watching movies with our host family, babysitting for our "little brothers", taking our "siblings" bowling, and one afternoon walking up Bishops Avenue (the richest avenue in the world) to the most beautiful park in London with our "dog" Inky. It was a great relaxing weekend before this past weekend of crazyness in Scotland! Scotland was the most beautiful country that I have ever seen. My pictures certainly do not do the landscape justice...it was soooo breathtakingly beautiful. After spending the past two months traveling from city to city, it was nice to get outdoors. We stayed in hostels in a group of 50! The pictures do not even begin to convey the cramped breakfasts that we shared. We took a bus tour of the highlands and took some pretty amazing pictures of elk while listening to our fabulous tour guide fill us in on the history of Scotland. We stopped numourous times to jump out of the bus and breath the freshest air! We spent one night on the island of Skye. I woke up in the morning, looked out my window, and saw a whale flip its tail out of the ocean while in the distance a rainbow formed over the mountains. Needless to say...I completely understand the island's traditions of believing in fairytales and magic! That day was spent on the island looking out onto the most beautiful mountains and view of the sea. We also played rugby on the beach and drank from magical stream water! We spent the next night next to Loch Ness! That day was spent visiting Loch Ness and dancing on the shore to wake Nessy from her sleep! Check out the picture that I captured of her (she was big and purple and kinda plastic looking)! Well needless to say Scotland was the best experience ever!!! This is getting kind of long...better get going...I will post within the next couple of weeks as I have visitors coming this next weekend (can't wait to see you Bette, Jake and Katie!) Hope you all are well....keep me posted on your lives as well! The pictures do a better job of conveying the trip than my words can!
Cheers!
